Two of Hoa Van Tran’s campaign workers were arrested on attempted murder charges, reveals the Register in a story by Tony Saavedra and Peggy Lowe here.
The two, Jorge Luis Valle (pictured, on the left) and Cesar “Youngster” Valle (on the right), are currently held at the notorious Theo Lacy jail. Jorge in his booking form filled out under occupation: “President.” See it here. What the hell?
Jorge faces chages of attempted murder, discharge of firearm at a dwelling, and street terrorism. Cesar is accused of being an accessory after the fact. They both face enhancement for being gang members.
The arrest happened on April 9, just a few hours after the two came back from a Hoa Van Tran fundraiser at the Original Mike’s in Santa Ana. The picture above was taken at that fundraiser. Apparently Jorge was arguing with someone and then shortly after shot at their car.
The only Democrat in the field of three candidates, all Vietnamese, running for the OC Board of Supervisors, Hoa has been dogged with negative news for several weeks now, and except for this one all of which was his own doing and very much avoidable.
The same day the news came out about his campaign workers’ arrest, Hoa fixed another of his problems (maybe) by filing an amended financial report, PDF here.
Something significant about the Register story:
Hoa is still not allowed to speak for himself. The Register couldn’t get anywhere close to the candidate; Edgardo Reynoso, the campaign consultant and the person who recruited the two alleged gang members/attempted murderers, did all the talking on his behalf.
The Bolsavik once got to interview Hoa directly, here. That was when Misha Houser (quoted in the Register story) was still working there. At a later scheduled interview here, Reynoso ran interference and would not let Hoa speak. Literally waving off Hoa every time he started to say something.

Second from left is a worker cited in the Register story: “Dopey.” Houser quoted him as saying he always packs a 22.
UPDATE: Just got information that “Youngster” is Jorge, not Cesar. You can verify that on the court’s web site, here.

This damn stupid and pathetic Art Pedroza just going around posting the same post again and again, so I’ll do it the same.
Why stupid?
1) He claimed that a property used to be owned by Dina Nguyen was put up as collateral to get her brother out of jail = Dina is a criminal herself. In a family when children are over 18 even parents are no longer responsible for their own behaviors. So what makes a person responsible for his/her siblings’ acts? Don’t understand? Art, if you don’t understand, try this: Is Bill Clinton a criminal if his half-brother commits crime? Hell no right?
2) When the house is sold or transferred, the owner is no longer the owner and bears no more responsibilities. Art, if you don’t get it, try this: After you sell your house, are you responsible for anything happens to it afterwards, no, hell no right? So, does it make Ms. A liable if her house was sold to Mr. B and Mr. B uses it to plant marijuana. No, hell no, right?
3) You claimed that you’re against Dina, Van Tran and his followers because they constantly attack your people, Mexicans you mean? Any proof? It is well known that they are against ILLEGAL immigrants. Are you one of the illegal immigrants? Do you have relatives who are illegal immigrants? Disclose to us and I’ll make sure that ICE will come and get your relatives or yourself and deport back to Mexico. Get it?
Why damn?
1) You’re a mad attackers of Van Tran and his followers from your Juice blog to Red County blog because you claim that they are against Mexicans. The only 2 persons so far that are Mexican haters are Tan Nguyen and Janet Nguyen, your idol. Do you contradict yourself? Why don’t you protest Janet?
2) In paragraph #4 you claim your hatred because of Dina/Van’s attacks on illegal Mexicans. Then in paragraph #5, you claim that you won’t vote for Hoa Van Tran because he recruited cholos (= Mexican gangs). Most illegal immigrants became gangs because they cannot find legal work. So, don’t want to support your own people? You hate them too, right? Do you contradict yourself? They might come and get you because you oppose good fellow Hoa Van Tran from employing them.
Why pathetic?
1) You claim on your post that you hold an MBA and even use it to boast how much money you make and dare Jubal the owner of Red County to show his. I don’t know how you make money doing blogs. I never heard of any bloggers really make good income from doing blogs. How many ads do you see on this blog? your blog? Red County blog? You don’t need an MBA to do blogs either. Does bolsavik have an MBA? Does he need one? No, hell no, right?
Don’t use your MBA to threat anyone. I have an MBA, too and I make so much money with my MBA that I don’t need to go around and kiss ass Ms. Supervisor for money like you do. I only come here for fun, unlike you spending full time responding to blog. Then, how do you find time to make money? Your MBA will be worthless when the next employer ask you how you did during the years after you earn your MBA. They expect you to say that you managed people, managed departments, managed products, or managed money but hell no they expect to hear that you spend full time writing blogs and earning income from online ads.
2) You hate Vietnamese because Vietnamese hate illegal immigrants including illegal Mexicans. Then you come here begging the owner of this blog to link your blog. Do you know that he’s Vietnamese, too?
3) Doesn’t matter which Vietnamese win this Supervisor race, whether it is Janet a Mexican hater, Hoa Van Tran a Mexican gang lover, or Dina, in your claims, another Mexican hater, the winner is still a Vietnamese and you will still be a loser kiss assing a Vietnamese.
